HASBRO Q&A NOTES:
SW Ultimate Darth Vader Kit - DV voice changer, lightsaber & cape out for Haloween
Galactic Heroes set has proved to be MUCH more popular than they ever thought it would be. The backpack danglers will include a Darth Tater!
All of the M-Pire figures will also be available as Plush figures except for C-3PO.
Titanium series will be a Walmart exclusive for the Fall and available everywhere next year.
Battlepacks Assortments: Jedi vs. Sith has all new sculpts, other sets are re-packs that are aimed at kids that want to build a collection. They will be available "at a great price."
Evolutions assortments look great! The Troopers pack will be available in 2 colors (yellow & gray) in about equal numbers.
Figures for this fall are pretty much all re-paints, but don't expect re-paints for 2006 :)
Unleashed has not sold as well as they hoped and the 7" Unleashed line is on hold for a while. It may return. The current wave (Yoda/Sidious) is the last. The Stormtrooper will not ship again.
Target Exclusive Battle Pack "Clone Attack on Coruscant" looks great for Clone fans who want to open or keep them in packages. Expect plenty and plenty of clones in the near future.
2006 Figures will have a look very much like the OTC figures. (BTW, the Separation of the Twins pack will have this same look). This series will be aimed toward the collector and feature almost only new sculpts. They will be released in waves that are all associated with a SW event. 1st will be Battle of Carkoon. Each figure will have a base with the name of the figure on it. Yes, that is a new Leia Bosch. Han coming out of Carbonite looks cool. Bib Fortuna is also a new sculpt and will feature much more articulation than the old one. The 2nd 2006 wave will be set on Hoth and will feature figures that have not been issued before.
The new 2" Unleasehed Battle Packs will be 75% army builder sets (like Clone or Wookie armies) with some limited articulation (arms). They will be 4 per pack.
They do have the license to keep making toys until 2018.
They brought out the 3 3/4" radio controlled R2-D2 and couldn't get it to work

voice of Grievous and even sang the Bill Murray "Star Wars song" and "When you wish upon a star"
The new 3D animated Star Wars show will be 30 minute episodes. It will be on in the fall of 2007 and combine Asian anime with 3D.

R2-M5, R2-C4, R2-X2, R4-E1 (Bo Shek's droid), R2-Q2 (Biggs' droid in Jedi), R3-T2 (Mos Eisley), R3-T6 (clear dome seen on Death Star), R3-42 (green droid with clear dome from Hoth)
*Sideshow get 12" line (that should be fun to see as long the price point stays the same)
*It looks like Unleashed is ending with the latest wave. Vague info about price points and shelf space! (its a shame because it was a great line)

*No word on rumors of the Early Birds shipping at this time
*During the Hasbro Q&A my daughter asked if there would be baby Luke & Leia figures. The answer was "yes!" They will be 2 Walmart exclusive 2 packs called "Separation of the Twins" One will be Senator Organa (repaint) with baby Leia and the other will be Obi-Wan with baby Luke. The sets will be out this fall
