Instead of a new installment today, we worked on the format of the feature instead! Hasbro had 2 updates over the weekend! You can now check out 2 of the new deluxe figures as well as some of the new vehicles coming down the pike for ROTS. As usual, we wont post pictures since we know some readers like to stay away from spoilers, even minor ones, but you can click right here to check it out!
Forum Member Optimus Prime reports in that he scored 12 of the new ROTS figures for $8.92 each (Canadian) at Wal-Mart! Don't run out the door just yet, these are not set to be out until April but as usual some slip out! Thanks Prime, and be sure to report your finds here!

From StarWars.com: Fossil has produced a fantastic watch just in time for the explosive return of the Clone Wars animated series in March. This highly stylized timepiece, which features the animated incarnations of Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Yoda, has a brushed metal finish and sports an adjustable leather band studded with four polished rivets.
Fans of animation will appreciate the way the face has been designed within the bezel--the images of Mace, Obi-Wan/Anakin, and Yoda appear to "float" on three separate plains within the bezel, simulating the look of an animation cel and background setup.

I found a plastic Star Wars Easter Egg at Wal-Mart last night in Lewistown. There are 60 ROTS stickers inside. It has the new promo design wrapped on the outside of it. They were in the Easter aisle and priced at $1.76. Looks like it may be a Wal-Mart exclusive because the wrap has a Wal-Mart dept. price right on it.

From StarWars.com: Get your game on with new Trading Card Games and Miniatures from Wizards of the Coast centered around the highly-anticipated Star Wars film, Revenge of the Sith. The Star Wars Trading Card Game has two new sets coming out in 2005, based around Episode III. The tenth expansion set for the Star Wars TCG, Revenge of the Sith hits shelves on April 2. This 110-card expansion features characters and art from the forthcoming film, including such favorites as Darth Vader, Mace Windu and Chewbacca, as well as a new card type: Equipment. The year's next expansion continues to introduce Episode III material. Rise of the Empire releases August 5th, adding 110 more cards to the game. Star Wars Miniatures has two full sets scheduled for 2005. In April, Revenge of the Sith adds 60 new figures, including key Episode III characters, lightsaber-wielding Jedi and Sith, more Wookiees -- even General Grievous and his bodyguards. In September, the game's Universe expansion introduces 60 more figures from the Original Trilogy era and beyond, and also introduces a big (and we mean BIG) new aspect to the game. Each expansion will also be followed by an Ultimate Missions sourcebook, providing new maps and scenarios for Miniature gameplay. Ultimate Missions: Clone Strike releases on March 4, followed in June by Ultimate Missions: Revenge of the Sith, and August by Ultimate Missions: Universe. Now gamers can discover how handy Han is with an arsenal of weapons and vehicles as an unlockable character in the new LucasArts' combat title Mercenaries. Gamers using a PS2 console can unlock Han by collecting 100 Blueprints. Xbox must collect 20 National Treasures to unlock Han. Well it looks like the horror is over. As of 3pm yesterday Gentle Giant seems to have stabilized the ordering system and most folks can now place an order no problem. From StarWars.com: One of the most innovative additions from Hasbro this year will be the debut of a new brand called Attacktix. Launching with Star Wars: Episode III toys, Attacktix is a battle figure game that combines great action figures with kinetic battling features. Each figure comes on a base that contains all of the information that a trading card might include, such as speed, defense, point value and special powers unique to that character.
The goal of the game is simple: be the last one standing; but beyond that there are nearly unlimited strategies. To begin, kids select how many points each squad should start out with, pick their squads and put them into formation. On each turn, kids will move their figures across the table (counting distance using a patented clicking wheel in the base), and then attack with features like slashing lightsabers, firing projectiles and others. When the figures are knocked over, their special powers come into play and influence the game. For example, granting another one of your figures an attack or bringing back a figure who may have been previously defeated.

If you are a member of the Code 3 Collectors Guild then you can take a sneak peak at the upcoming AT-ST here. If you are not a member then you can wait till February 8, like the rest of us, to see what Code 3 has under it's sleeve.
StarWarsShop.com has plenty of Revenge of the Sith "appetizer" merchandise to hold you over until the onslaught of new products hits retail. There are plenty of categories and things to choose from. From Master Replicas items to coffee mug and pins there is plenty of new stuff. And just to remind you, all order will include a Revenge of the Sith promo card from the upcoming Topps set for the movie.
Gentle Giant apparently was not content with only one version of the Stormtrooper bust-up and several variations have surfaced. The latest additions are two more black hole stormtrooper poses. There is still no official word from Gentle Giant as far as production numbers for the variations.
We got reports of people finding the latest wave of unleashed figures at a Target in Spokane, Washington. The wave consists of the bounty hunters Aurra Sing and IG-88, and a Stormtrooper. Keep your eyes out for this wave and be sure to let us know, and our forum members, what you find. Happy hunting!
The link for the Han Solo Mini Bust went live today, earlier for some than others if you attempted to order the Clone Wars Padme Amidala Maquette a few days back and your order fell through but that's another story. Several of our forums member, myself included, still have not been able to order their mini bust or are in customer service limbo with charged credit cards and no order confirmation.
