Gentle Giant Star Wars Stormtrooper Chrome Edition

Welcome to another edition of First Look! This time we take a look at the United Kingdom/StarWarsShop Shared Exclusive Gentle Giant Stormtrooper Chrome Edition Mini-Bust!

First let's take a look at the 3rd (well technically 4th, but let's no go there) Chrome Edition to come out from Gentle Giant!

No big surprise here, its the same as the regular version but its Chrome. It does not sport the same gold-like plating of the Vader and it also seems to be a little brighter than the Jango which makes for a nice contrast when displayed all together. It also has a detachable hand with gun and head, which is a first for the chrome line.

One point to notice is that there is one area of the bust that is not chrome and that is the eyes. They have a black finish which sets them off with a nice touch from the rest of bust. The regular version had green eyes.

There was a small white circle that the bust shipped with to protect it in transit but even when it was removed the chrome version still stands about 1/8th of a inch higher than the regular version.

Both heads can be positioned in at any angle.

It also was the first time a chrome edition was not shipped in a plain white mailer. Regardless of where you purchased yours, they all have the same box as pictured below:
