Star Wars Episode 3 Crazy Hair
As I walked into Toys R Us this week, I spotted a interesting looking display for Crazy Hair ROTS Candy. They had 4 characters to choose from and they were around a buck each. I figured they would make a good First Look so I picked a set up!

Each one has its own flavor, Vader was Lava Berry, Anakin was Jedi Gooey Gel, R2-D2 was R2-DGoo and Chewbacca was Wookie Kiss. Not that creative but still different. Now What I think you will find funny (think back to Hasbro repacks), is that upon closer inspection of these, it looks like the Star Wars Label are over something. As you can see with this closeup:

So I took my least favorite and ripped it open, and guess what? They repacked these items, just stuck a label over another label and stuck a Star Wars head on it. If you peel away the label you will see:

So that got me thinking, this was some clever marketing. When I first saw these I saw LUCAS on the label and just assumed our boy had moved into the candy market, but a quick look at http://www.lucasworld.com/usa/home_english/ shows that they not under Lucas at all, and what I found even funnier was that the crazy hair product was not even shown as a current product. So we got a repacked, possibly discounted item with a false label on it. And if you look close, it looks like the date all of them reads 04. I sure hope that not a expiration date of some kind.
Well I had to know so I twisted one and a clay like substance came out of the type, like a Play Doh toy, and I took a taste and it was horrid. A very thick and crunchy texture and the flavor was just not there.

Still a cool item and it tuned out to be a neat "cover up", but if you get them, dont eat them, you WILL regret it.
