Yesterday's Star Wars Rebels panel at Celebration Europe II featured a lot of concept art for the series, but nothing got as much applause as the Rebel ship called the Ghost. While we only saw it in a few images at the panel, there's actually a bonus image out there featuring schematics of the Ghost -- and the web address is hidden on the Rebels pins that were given away at the panel.

John Williams, the legendary composer who crafted the iconic, sweeping music of all six films in the Star Wars saga, is returning to score Star Wars: Episode VII, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy announced today at Star Wars Celebration Europe. Williams' grand orchestral compositions for Star Wars are among the most beloved and recognizable in movie history, from the classic "Main Title" theme introduced in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope to the ominous "Imperial March" from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back to the stirring "Duel of the Fates" from the prequel trilogy.

Williams, whose career spans over six decades, has won five Academy Awards and has scored some of the most popular and critically acclaimed films of all time, including Jaws, the Indiana Jones series, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, Lincoln, and countless others.

The composer joins a growing list of all-star creators including director J.J. Abrams, screenwriter Michael Arndt, and consultants Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg, who are shaping Star Wars: Episode VII, currently set for a 2015 release.

Star Wars Rebels Executive Producer Dave Filoni pulled back the curtain on Lucasfilm's highly anticipated animated series for Star Wars Celebration Europe attendees today, discussing the huge influence of original Star Wars concept artist Ralph McQuarrie on the look and feel of the show, and revealing the series' unique logo and select designs.

Filoni talked at length about the use of McQuarrie art as a springboard for the series, showcasing many works from the original trilogy, including landscapes and characters, and detailing how they inform the visual identity of Star Wars Rebels.

For Star Wars Rebels, fans were given their first look at the Ghost, which will be the main character's ship and play a big part in the series, as well as a computer rendering of a very McQuarrie-esque Stormtrooper, the interior of a Star Destroyer, and more. The show's logo, a minimalist yet powerful design, is notable for its orange and black color scheme, which recalls the flight suit colors of Rebel pilots in the original Star Wars trilogy.

While unable to attend in person, Executive Producers Simon Kinberg and Greg Weisman shared their excitement for the series in a video message recorded specifically for Celebration attendees.

The series is set between the events of Episode III and IV -- an era spanning almost two decades never-before explored on-screen. It takes place in a time where the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape

Throughout the Star Wars Celebration Europe II show this weekend in Essen, Germany, Artist Matt Busch will be giving out an exclusive German RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK poster! Authorized by Lucasfilm, each poster measures 16" x 24" and will be signed by Busch in person, all free of charge.

Featuring all German text and logos, the poster commemorates three decades of Indiana Jones. The title of the poster (in German) is "It's not the years, it's the mileage." The epic montage painted by Busch features classic scenes and characters from the movie that started it all. There are also a few Easter Eggs on the poster, including the OB-CPO plane, and a fly crawling right into Belloq's mouth!

75 copies of the poster will be given away each day of the show at Matt Busch's booth at 2pm (14:00). Busch's booth is #1300, right behind the huge Jabba's Palace display in Hall 11. Throughout the Star Wars Celebration Europe II show this weekend, Artist Lin Zy will be giving out 4 different Princess Leia-themed art prints on a first come, first serve basis. Authorized by Lucasfilm, each print measures 14" x 17" and will be signed by Lin Zy, all free of charge. Each print stands alone as a whimsical piece of art, or you can collect all 4 to complete the set.

For our next segment, where we take a closer look at the Artists for the Celebration Europe II Art Show, we feature JAKe and his piece 1983: The Circle Is Now Complete. Below is the final print image and some more information we got chatting with JAKe about it:

This is the final art that's gone to print. "1983: The Circle Is Now Complete". It's priced at 33 euros and is A2 16.5x23 size, the same as my 1977, and 1980 prints.

Preorders ended, but Lucasfilm are letting us sell any unsold prints after the event this time. There always seems to be a big demand AFTER the shows especially from people who can't make it to Celebrations so I've started a reserves list for anyone who wants one. Send me an email and I'll add you to the list.

I'll be signing, sketching and doing comissions for anyone who wants one in Essen. I'll also have some original Star Wars art for sale, and on Friday I'm doing a kid's workshop called "How To Draw Wookie." at 16:00 on the Friday, in Halle 5. I'll be, err, drawing wookiees and other denizens of the SW universe, giving away some artwork and signing copies of 'Sprich wie ein Wookiee', the German version of my book 'How To Speak Wookiee' ( Lucasfilm/ Chronicle Books ). I going to tweet some photos from previous Celebrations, and hopefully from Essen too, so anyone who wants to follow me I'm on Twitter as @JAKeDetonator

At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, eFX Inc. just unveiled the most detailed, most accurate full-scale Stormtrooper uniform replica ever. It's the full armor suit, from the boots to the helmet. eFX was able to cast directly from original, screen-used Stormtrooper armor, including body suit and neck seal, from 1977's Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.

The Stormtrooper armor replica can be seen in BOOTH #3635

This marks the very first time any collectible company has had full access to a production-used Stormtrooper armor from A New Hope for the purposes of actually producing a collectible replica. The suit used for casting is one of only two Stormtrooper costumes known to have been sent to the U.S. during production of the original Star Wars. From head to toe, this is the most stunning and most accurate Stormtrooper replica ever created — and the best news is, eFX is producing them for purchase!

Its appearance at San Diego Comic-Con will be the first time it will be on public display prior to pre-orders, which are planned to begin in the fall. The retail price for this "eFX Legend Edition" Stormtrooper replica is expected to be about $2,000, which will include a full display set-up!

Our friends at Star Wars Action News got a glimpse of what we teased here last night. The Stormtrooper is the first in a new series of life size Kenner figures. It's articulated at the arms with a removable blaster. At least one more is planned, Darth Vader, who will have a vinyl cape and telescoping lightsaber. Hasbro sent out the official press information and images for the new Angry Birds Star Wars TELEPODS line:

TELEPODS lets you teleport your Rebel Bird and Imperial Pig figures into the new ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS II app so you can choose who you launch! Simply download the ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS II app (fees apply), tap the TELEPODS icon in the app, place your figure on the included TELEPODS base, and then place the base on your smart device (not included) to download your figure into the game! You can also launch your Rebel Bird figures in real life to destroy iconic ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS structures and topple the evil Pig Empire. Collect more than 30 teleport-able figures across the line!

In addition to getting a first look at the new ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS TELEPODS line, Hasbro will showcase its highly anticipated STAR WARS THE BLACK SERIES figures before they land on store shelves this fall. With THE BLACK SERIES, Hasbro introduces a 6-inch scale of the greatest characters from the STAR WARS universe featuring incredibly accurate design and a high level of articulation. A California man who pleaded guilty to defrauding the Department of Transportation out of nearly $1.9 million is going to lose his two residences, two cars and retirement accounts. But that is not the worst of it — Eric Hodgson is also being forced to give up a collection of Star Wars memorabilia worth more than $10,000 as part of his plea deal. He is facing a nine-year prison sentence.

Hodgson, 43, was charged 22 counts of grand theft after the California DOT hired him to publish ads for construction contracts in local newspapers. Hodgson had other ideas.

"He instead used the money to pay off a mortgage, make purchases of toys and comics and pay for exotic trips for him and his company staff," said State Attorney General Kamala Harris' office in a statement.

According to Nick Pacilio, a spokesman for Harris, the collection will now go up for auction, Reuters reported. Amongst the items in the collection is a 3-foot-tall rubber statue of Yoda with a robe and wispy hair.

SANDTROOPER SQUAD LEADER TWO-PACK ARTFX+ STATUE - First seen in Star Wars Episode IV searching Tatooine for a pair of droids, Sandtroopers use modified Stormtrooper armor and unique weaponry, and as with all soldiers are more effective in greater numbers. The Sandtrooper ARTFX+ Statues replicate their onscreen counterparts perfectly, with intricately sculpted armor that shows off all of the details you know from the film. Notably, they wear the iconic shoulder pauldrons and convoluted backpacks full of desert equipment. Similarly, due to the harsh conditions they operate in the Sandtroopers feature armor scoured and stained brown, further differentiating them from their standard Imperial brothers. The Caravan will be travelling from the UK to France, Belgium, Holland and Germany arriving in time for Star Wars Celebration Europe that takes place 26-28th July in Messe Essen, and then all the way back to London again! As we reach each country we’ll be welcomed by the local 501stGarrison in order to raise awareness of our trip and raise funds for Make-A-Wish.

R2-D2, and his protocol droid companion C-3PO, are major characters in all six Star Wars films. Both droids served the Skywalker family faithfully for many years. The iconic droids are sculpted to perfection, with stunning attention to detail, capturing all of the interesting mechanical details that made them so famous. C-3PO and R2-D2 stand just over 6 ½ inches and nearly 4 inches tall respectively. These finely crafted 1/10th scale, cold-cast porcelain statues come hand-painted and handcrafted, and are strictly limited to 1200 pieces worldwide. Update: Nothing has been "official" from GG other than PGM will have a shot at these and that was via Twitter in response to a question from YakFace. Also, it was never stated anywhere that the entire Edition Size of this was 250 - the reports posted say 250 will be offered for CE. All we know now is that Toy-Palace is offering 250 at CE2 and PGM will have a shot to order as well so it's safe to say it's more than 250. Any reports that the entire edition size of this is 250 total pieces is false.

Our friends, at YakFace.com, have uncovered (via Toy Palace) that they will be offering a Jumbo Kenner Tri-Logo Yak Face at Celebration Europe II. Limited to 250 pieces. They later confirmed via Gentle Giant (on Twitter) that these will indeed be available to PGM members.

A limited quantity of both the 3.75" and 6" figures from The Black Series will be available at Toys 'R' Us in Brent Cross, London labelled as 'First Day of Issue'.

It has been a hot topic on Facebook, Twitter and in Star Wars forums about the R2-D2 6" Black Series not looking as most of us hoped and thought it would so Mark took some high res images we had from the prototype and the actual production piece.

None of us thought we would get the super detailed hand painted one we saw at Toy Fair (on the left), but for a suggested MSRP of $25 a figure, I think most of us were hoping for something better. Sure lighting and the angle of the shot all play a role, but this looks vastly different in so many ways. Take a look for yourself and join in the discussion on our facebook page.

Sometimes, being a corporate troubleshooter means that your job is identifying weak points in a company and strengthening infrastructure. Other times, such as in the Star Wars: The Old Republic update available on the test server, it means that your job is shooting trouble. Seems that Czerka Corporation has sort of lost control of an important test moon, and that means that player characters will need to visit a new daily hub as well as two new level 55 Flashpoints.

These Flashpoints aren't the usual fare; they feature both a Hard Mode and a Story Mode, with the latter allowing any combination of roles to clear the flashpoint for shorter queue times and a more relaxed experience. You've also got two new reputations to explore, one for the daily hub and one for the upcoming Bounty Broker event. If you've done all there is to do on Makeb, the patch means you'll have plenty more to do soon. There's also a new Companions 101 piece on Corso Riggs, but really, a new patch is a bit more interesting.
