[Sith Lord 0498]

Just a heads-up for our forum members.

I spent the afternoon photographing and taking notes on the majority of Clone Wars Wave 1 because a good friend of mine played hardball with the night management at Wal-Mart and got to purchase the figures. I've already submitted the review for Yoda, so it should be going up later tonight.

Before you get excited, my overall impression is that the first wave is seriously lacking in production quality. They look great, but there are too many misses. Anakin and Obi-Wan have ZERO articulation from the waist down, and Anakin constantly falls over. Grievous only has six joints, and the arms are still soft and rubbery. Rex and Clonetrooper look to be the best two of this wave, but I didn't spend much time on them yet.

Anyways, keep your eyes on the main page tonight and for the next two weeks. I'm going to try getting two more done by next Sunday night if my schedule allows.

I have seen all the carded figs now (at the OSWCC Social). I agree with SL. Overall nice (looks), but some misses (articulation). I dunno if I want to drop $60+ on the whole set. I probably will, though, after the film comes out

Quick update:

Grievous is done and waiting to be posted. Short version? Don't even waste your money on him.

I'm working on R2 right now, and he is definitely a cool figure to get with plenty of hidden surprises!!
