As a 37 year old collector I have wanted an AT-AT of this magnitude for many years. We FINALLY have one but it's only downfall would be that it falls short compared to the incredible AT-TE vehicle from '08. I understand that the AT-TE was not even a glimmer in Lucas' eye back in '79 but the creative team responsible for the look of the clone wars vehicles has once and for all converted me to an AT-TE guy. Will I still lay down the cash for this new version-yes in a heartbeat. |

I like it! Told my little brother we need to get 5 and recreate the Hoth Battle in the basement.
I just hope the Clone Wars crap around it is just for show. I hope it has regular figs that come with it. They better make a way to get Snowtroopers for army builders too. I don't have enough Snowtrooper figs as it is. _________________ Star Wars Space check it out! |

It comes with an AT-At Driver figure, there is always the Saga Legends line to get your Snowtrooper fix. _________________ T-man ricks! |

Yeah, but even they aren't easy to find. I'll have to look around but doesn't it hold a butt load of trooper in it. I'll want to fill it up and have a few on the ground. _________________ Star Wars Space check it out! |

Snowtroopers have dried up around my area. They seem to stock more Clone Wars stuff then Legacy of the Froce or Saga Legends in my area. _________________ Star Wars Space check it out! |

Hasbro never seems to do that. If I was running the show and we were releasing the AT-AT on the shelves next to it would be snowspeeders. Hoth Rebel troopers, the big gun they had, Snowtroopers, AT-AT drivers, General Veers and the whole shootin' match. Everything you need to re-create the Battle of Hoth would be there to buy. Doesn't that make sense? _________________

Based on the way that they have it set up, I was wondering if an AT-AT was going to appear in the Clone wars at some point. Probably not, though.
I too am an AT-TE convert. Easily the best Hasbro vehicle to date. This AT-AT will be a close second though. If you look at the scaling of the Obi figure vs. the size of the foot, this thing is ginormous.
I'm going to buy one and four mirrors positioned to look like I have 5. |
