Since you asked, I would say that the figure kinda missed the mark, in much the same way the first DS2 Luke did.
First off, I don't think Hasbro perfected the ball-jointed hips for this figure, resulting in a Bespin Luke who cannot swivel his legs forward (they splay out to the sides) and giving him a "diaper-crotch" look.
I also dislike the incorrectly-painted straps on his boots (the color of the straps should match the color of the boots). And I think the color wash of the uniform is a little too gray for the figure (it should be a very light khaki color with a lot of dirt and grime).
But, it definitely sports the best Mark Hamill sculpt I have ever seen, hands down. For that alone, it was worth a purchase.
I'm glad you like it. |

i am also in love with this figure... i feel the OTC figures from this line are really shining over the prequel figures.. IMO. |

While visiting family in NJ, I had the urge to figure purchase but had every figure I really wanted at the time. So with that said I decided I was going to by one I already had specifically to open and initiate the mail away process. Bespin Luke was the figure I went there with the intent to open.. He is one of my favorites. This figure IMO is awesome rgith down to the dirt of the fatigues... i have the 2004 vintage style card back version with swivel hips and this resculpt blows that one away. Almost like young teenager vs young adult.. just my thought .. i am really looking forward to jedi luke though, he looks phenominal imo.. |
