|
|
I was thinking about this last night, and I thought that it should be opened up for discussion. What figures would you like to see Hasbro make in The Vintage Collection?
First up, I would say that Hasbro has (understandably) avoided making many figures from The Phantom Menace. Now, I will say that I am happy with a lot of the figures of secondary characters we got in the Episode 1 line; and I what I would prefer to see is a resculpt of some of the more major characters. For example, I would like to see updated, definitive versions of the following:
Anakin Skywalker (Mos Espa Outfit)
Padme Amidala (Theed Liberation)
Jar Jar Binks
Darth Maul
Captain Tarpals
From Revenge of the Sith, I would love to see:
Merumeru (Wookiee Captain)
Padme Amidala (Blue Apartment Dress)
Cin Drallig (Jedi Temple Defender)
Chancellor Palpatine (Jedi Encounter)
From Attack of the Clones, I would be pleased to see Hasbro make:
Sarrissa Jeng (Arena Jedi)
Taun We
Sar Labooda (Arena Jedi)
From Return of the Jedi, we are in dire need of:
Emperor Palpatine
Teebo
From The Empire Strikes Back, I would be stoked to see:
Admiral Piett |

Fisto that is a very impressive list, and I personally can not think of any more additions I would like to see that you have not already listed above... I 100% agree on that list.
I would like to see more Expanded Universe figures though such as:
***Zayne Carrick - A young, clumsy padawan who when arrives late to a banquet finds his fellow padawans slain by their masters. Shocked by what he sees he then escapes and is then on the run and ends up starting the Mandolorians in the process... (bring him to life hasbro)
Cade Skywaler (sleeveless; how he is depicted in a lot of comic scene battles)
Jariah Syn( Cade's pirate buddy)
Figures from the upcoming Knights of the Old Republic II videogame.. (bring it to life Hasbro)
More Comic Packs!
and characters of this nature whose actions have impacted the story of the movies and literature that we all love today... Please give us more Expanded Universe characters Hasbro |

Just in case you didn't know they have come out with an awesome Cade Skywalker figure already, which again, is awesome do not get me wrong:
he represents Cade w/ leather jacket:
The only problem is when you remove the jacket, the black thick sleeves from the leather jacket stay because they are actually his arms, not a piece of the jacket although it looks like it...
A version to depict Cade in his sleeveless chest armor with his tattoos during most of his lightsaber duels would be an awesome variant:

Yes, that would definitely be a welcome addition. The POTF2 figure in my collection is starting to look a little dated.

It would be an easy one, too. Just repackage the DS2 Luke with a poncho, helmet, tunic and utility belt. Done, and done! |
