Personally, I don't even pay attention to that. I couldn't care less which body is used for the Clone Troopers. I find it amusing that people have such strong opinions one way or the other.
I'm wondering how the flesh tone of this new figure would look if I swapped heads to the Rex I currently have. He seems to be much lighter in the photos, so I'm not sure if it would mesh well. _________________

In my opinion, collectors dislike the Stone mold because it lacks ankle joints, and it also lacks the wrist joints that were used on the original mold. I can't argue against them, since I think the Stone mold would definitely benefit from the addition of ankle joints. But I just prefer the aesthetics of the Stone mold: it more closely resembles the way the clones look on the show.

Like I said, I don't have a preference either way. I think they look fine standing next to one another, too. _________________

| I prefer the body of the Stone mold because the joint between the chest and abdomen never sits right on the other body style. The solid body is more aesthetically pleasing. I like articulation as much as the next guy, but it doesn't trump the overall aesthetic of the figure. |

Ugly, huh? That strikes me as odd, since the Stone mold closely resembles the design of the clones seen on the show, at least to my eye. And if anything, I would say that it looks better than the original mold, since it makes the troopers look bulkier, and corrects the "cankles" and the incorrect elbow armor. |

Marvel Universe and the occasional G.I. JOE figure are another story, though, so I do know what you mean.
