I found all of the Class 1 vehicles at my local Walmart this morning. I bought the Clone Trooper with BARC Speeder, for $16.97. I left all of the other packs on the shelf, since I am not interested in them at this time. As far as I can tell, the trooper consists of the VC45 body (yeah, Bob!), but with the helmet from last year's TVC ROTS clone trooper. I did notice something different about the trooper's blaster: near the end of the barrel, right below the muzzle, I noticed a small bit of paint that looked brass in color. At first, I thought that this was a paint error. But, it was almost perfectly round, and I think that it is an intentional painting of a joint on the blaster. If so, kudos to Hasbro!

Nice! Good finds!
From target:
x2 - Barc speeder w clone trooper!! Thanks MasterKit for helping me figure this out/ I decided to still open the clone trooper (aerial) and I regret it so much... The articulation is soooo under par... He makes a nice backround character though... I am most likely not going to get anything from this line anywhere due to articulation disappointment..
Mawhonic looks very similar to a character from Rotj in Jaba's palace. Same species for sure... I may pick him up for that reason...
How is the Gungan warrior? Exact repack for TVC, correct? |

The Gungan Warrior was the figure that I wanted the most from this wave, so I am glad that he was there this morning. The addition of his "farseein" binoculars is a huge plus for me. I just hope that the TVC repack of this figure later in the year comes with this accessory. But it's no worry to me, since I won't be getting the TVC version. |

I saw those today at Walmart too. Alas, all I wanted was C8-R3 and they did not have the droid I was looking for. _________________

I saw the droid today, but passed on it for now. I need to save something to buy for later one, and yet another astro droid is quite low on my list. No offense, ST.
After opening Mawhonic tonight, I started thinking about how I would love to see my entire collection in this scale. That's what I love best about this figure: its size. Wouldn't it be cool to see all Star Wars figures in this scale? I certainly think so. Highly recommended. |

I made another stop at Walmart this morning (another store, mind you), and I found the DTF wave again. But, Aurra Sing was not there! The bounty on her head keeps growing and growing. I will find her, though! I bought:
Destroyer Droid (I need one more to complete the shield)
Ric Olié
G8-R3 (in honor of ST!!!!) |

Hasbro is repacking the TAC Droideka, but this time the shield is a little more translucent:
Gotta buy two to get the full shield. |

Very cool!
**Also for you army builders, eBay user dorksidetoys has the TVC Battle droid loose/ complete, they have 13 left available @ 8.89 each! I picked up 3x since the 3x carded ones I bought back in December was a posting mistake by the seller.. posting more QTY than really available... They could have sent me one @ 15 each, but I was disgusted over the situation and asked for a full refund! Now the waiting has paid off... and MasterKit you are very right... I should not be so eager to over pay, when waiting a mere 2-3 weeks would make all difference! |
