I like that quite a bit, but I think another release of the standard 2011 Ahsoka would have made more sense. _________________

Agreed, since that one was quite difficult for many collectors to find at retail. But I think that this figure is the reason why S3 Ahsoka is not being released in 2012. |

According to JTA, here's the case assortment for wave 3:
1x Republic Commando Boss
1x Anakin Skywalker
1x Captain Rex (New Helmet)
1x Obi-Wan Kenobi
1x Plo Koon
1x Aqua Battle Droid
1x SCUBA Ahsoka Tano
1x Clone Commander Wolffe
1x Super Battle Droid
1x Mace Windu
1x Chewbacca
1x Aayla Secura

Also agree, since I never saw it. _________________ "we're mild and green ... and squeaky clean" |

If I remember correctly, I only saw that Ahsoka figure three times at retail, each time only at Walmart. Also, I only saw the armored version of Savage Opress two times, each time only at Target.
And when I think about this, it typically makes me wonder why Hasbro chose some of the figures that they did for their 2012 repacks. Why Sno Plo instead of S3 Ahsoka? Why the first version of Cad Bane instead of the second one? And why the shirtless version of Savage Opress when the armored version was so hard to find - and the character is making another appearance on the show this week, featured only in his armor.
Inquiring minds want to know! |

Inquiring minds want to know! | They really did make some peculiar decisions with the 2012 lineup. While the older Cad Bane hangs in new packaging for $8 or $9 (whatever they cost now), I grabbed two of the newer CW42 versions for Toys For Tots at $1.50 a couple weeks ago. _________________

Yep. If I am not mistaken, they are made from the same body mold. The only difference between the two are the helmets (which I suspect are non-removeable) and the paint schemes. |

That's from a collector in the Phillipines. So, we're probably still six to twelve weeks out from seeing these in the States. Keep in mind that there hasn't even been a hint of wave 2 showing up yet. |
