My my am I jealous of your Scuba clone Master Fisto...
I stopped by my usual Walmart today and they did not have any of the new minirigs. I guess I hadn't looked down on that shelf for quite a while because I was shocked in what I found. Along with 3 of the "new" Clone on Barc Speeder sets, they actually still have 3 Count Dooku on Speeder,, 2 Plo Koon on Speeder and 2 Battle Droid on Assault Tank sets. |

Just got up to Target today and picked up a clone wars commander cody. It is an interesting piece...some of the things on it I don't quite get, but other than that it's great.
I also was very surprised to find some "Hidden Enemy" and "Hostage Crisis" battle packs on an isle end today. They were all marked down on clearance for $12.95. I have no clue where they came from, but Target was desperate to be rid of them. There were about five of each pack. The Hostage Crisis ones looked great, but I passed on them. The Hidden Enemy ones were all yellowed. like completely yellow. I did find ONE that was tolerable, and went ahead and picked it up. only a slight yellow tint on some parts. I'm really excited about them since I missed them when they came out, so awesome find |

I saw this one over the weekend, but left it as I didn't know if it were new or repacked. Instead I bought Aaylaa Secura. Regrettably she wasn't topless. And I later found out that she's a straight repack. Bugger! _________________ "we're mild and green ... and squeaky clean" |

I assumed that you would have gotten her through BBTS. Don't you get most of your stuff from online retailers these days? |

The Clone Wars is one line I don't pre-order from BBTS. The two waves I got online last year were from eBay sellers, and both were better deals. I figured this year's stuff would be easy to find at retail, and I was right. The first wave was plentiful everywhere, and I saw this wave last night when I took Jennifer to get stuffing for her dolls. I picked up Aayla and Boss; I passed on Rex and Obi-Wan. I like the versions of those characters I already have more.
I don't pre-order Marvel Universe, either. I've seen every character from that line in retail stores, including most variants, and I've never gone to a store to specifically look for anything Marvel. It's just so easy to collect. I haven't pre-ordered any of the new G.I. JOE movie line yet because it's a movie line. There will be more in stores than the 2010-2011 stuff, all of which I ordered from BBTS. _________________

I visited BBTS this morning and snooped around a bit; and my snooping has tempted me to start buying cases online and just skip my daily runs to the Big Box retailers. I haven't quite decided what to do yet, though. What prompted this was a toy run yesterday which yielded one new TVC figure. When I got home and opened it, I noticed that there was an unsightly gash on the figure's boot. Knowing that it would be really hard to find a replacement at retail any time soon, I went online to find a replacement. All of this made me wonder if I should just skip the retail runs and start buying cases online.
Hmmm...what to do....
[EDIT]: I registered at BBTS this morning and selected their "Pile of Loot" option. I then placed an order for a Deleted Scenes wave of TVC, and pre-ordered the third wave of TVC figures, which does not ship until later this month. I may become a convert to this online ordering business. |

Animated Obi-Wan reminds me of Buzz Lightyear. I can't really explain it, other that to say it has something to do with their facial expressions and the determination of their characters. _________________ "we're mild and green ... and squeaky clean" |

Long story short I may need some assistance acquiring Ahsoka Tano's backpack that she used to carry Rotta the hutlet around in... I am going to pay a visit to my step brother's who ended up with my entire CW collection... I gave him my entire collection cataloged already and his mother, my stepmother, insisted that he too keep them as organized as I had originally given to him.. He was never too interested so there is hope that it is still in tact |
