They are somewhat like modern updates of the originals. I get a little nostalgia when I look at these ... either that or the feeling like they are simply taking advantage of most people not knowing about the lack of articulation, until they open the box. |

Not sure if these are "battlepacks" but I figured this was the best place to post these images from Sandtroopers of some upcoming TRU exclusives.
The Ewoks are a must-have, but I'll probably pass on the pilots...

That Ewok set is the shit! I cannot wait to get that one, and the Pilots set. Now I can retire my oversized Teebo from my collection. |

I'm ecstatic! Bring on the Ewoks...
I think they are so bad ass, they may look "cute" but they are not when they want to be... Any idea when we can expect to see this pack, as well as the recently released Special "droid pack" Target exclusive... this is another pack I am very excited for!

I'm starting to think that Kneesa might be one of the cutest little things ever offered as a Star Wars toy. I'm looking forward to getting this set! |

A droid pack?! Ah, looks like re-paints. Interesting though. _________________

Now, you write that you saw the Endor pilots set. That is an TRU-exclusive pilot set from last year:
Do you mean these sets? Or are you referring to the new TRU-exclusive Yavin pilot set? |

Sorry for the confusion, I mean the Yavin Pilot set, in the Darth Maul packaging for $39.99. The new one with Jek Porkins:
They've been sitting on tons (and by tons I mean several) of the older Endor Pilot packs for months, but this was the new one and was on an end cap. |

That's what I thought you meant, Bob. But I had to make sure. I didn't want to get all excited for nothing and start haunting my TRUs.
So, did you buy the pilots set? If so, what do you think of it? |

I did not buy it. When we (my boys and I) play Star Wars they kind of ignore the pilots in favor of Clones and Jedi, so I think my money is best spent elsewhere. I will 100% be buying the Ewok set, assuming I find one.

I agree with you...freakin' adorable.
I saw a Kneesa on ebay this morning. Only $34.99 + $6.25 shipping |
