Oh crud...a repaint of Rex and Wolffe. I was hoping for a repaint of Cody (i.e., better articulation). Oh well, at least Hasbro is being consistent in their new approach to limited articulation
And why did they fail to paint his chin the correct color? It is clear that the chin section is supposed to be white. Just look at the image of the character on the left. That really dampens my enthusiasm for this figure, since my OCD self will always notice that oversight. Oh well. And unlike TVC, I don't expect to see a running change to this figure, since Hasbro sees this sub-line as one geared toward children. Shaak Ti, anyone? |

I definitely prefer the look of the original figure over this. _________________

The original Commander Fox remains my favorite clone figure and I owe a HUGE thanks to Master Fisto who hooked me up with one a while back since I missed out on him in stores. |

And I was glad to give him to you, since the "giraffe" neck on that figure always seemed a little off to me. So, the fact that you are enjoying him works out for everyone.
And, they managed to get the paints app right on the promo photo of the figure on the back of the card:

Fox was one of the only two TCW figures I added to my collection before January of last year. I'm a sucker for exclusives, so I picked up him and the Walmart exclusive (501st Trooper, I think) from the animated movie line. Once I got into the line, I had to get a loose one to hang with the rest of my soldiers.
The correctly painted helmet on the back of the card makes a world of difference for the figure. _________________

It sure does. And I seriously doubt that we'll ever see it painted correctly. Kinda disappointing, since I was starting to ease up on these figures with less articulation. I was pleasantly surprised by Rex when I finally got him in hand; and that has made me more eager to add Wolffe to my collection. I just wish Hasbro had painted the chin on Fox. Oh well. |

It will probably come out some time during the holiday season. There was a similar gift pack released around Christmas last year.

The figures look like straight repacks/repaints, so there should be nothing new to report with regard to articulation. |

aw, so that means nothing new for wolffe. I have come to accept the regular trooper sculpt, so I'm fine with that. I was just hoping for somethign extra with wolffe. anyways, a definate buy! _________________ I am a clonatic |
