I've heard that before. It hasn't always panned out. _________________ "we're mild and green ... and squeaky clean" |

Rarely. In the overwhelming majority of cases, it means they'll be at retail in California within a few weeks. _________________

I would love to see them crank out more and more figures, but my checking account would be very happy if I went back to not buying STAR WARS toys. _________________

I am already there, my friend. After I acquire the two figures that I want from the first (and only?) wave of The Clone Wars figures, I may not pick up anything until the Black Series comes out this summer. |

From what I have been reading over the weekend, this wave is still on schedule to come out in the United States. It has already shown up at retail in the Philippines, and is on schedule for Europe. So, I expect to see these at some point in our stores. |

Even if that is accurate, the 501st Legion Clone Trooper is really the only big loss from the assortment. I'd buy the Rex figure, but I wasn't thrilled about it.
And even if someone from Hasbro did say these would not be released in the U.S. and they don't hit Big Box retail stores, that doesn't mean they won't show up at Ollie's, Ross, Marshalls, or T.J. Maxx. Lots of "canceled" Hasbro items end up in those stores. _________________

I was also looking forward to the newer Rex, since it is a slight improvement over the 2012 offering. Although I am not crazy about that sculpt (the bucket is way too big, and the legs too skinny), it is the only Rex we have in his badass phase two armor. I was planning on using my dremel on a phase two Rex helmet and use it with the realistic Rex that was supposed to come out in the (now cancelled) Legacy Collection. I still would love to see that figure come out later this year in the Black Series. |

I really wanted that rex for its rotary cannon! It's not the big bulky missile firing one we are used to, and it rotates... very awesome. _________________ I am a clonatic
