I snagged the 6" R2-D2 at Target. I was initially going to pass on this one; but due to my growing enthusiasm for the 6" line, I decided to add him to my collection. And I am glad that I did. Excellent sculpting, and a bunkload of accessories. Love this little guy.

My wife bought this Artoo for me. Cool We will see if it leads to me starting to collect this line. It is a definite maybe.

As I have said before: I am all in with this line. Love each and every one of them so far; and I am really looking forward to future waves. I would be surprised if you are apathetic about the rest of them, assuming you were to get them.

I found wave 2 of the 3.75" line at my local Target. Unfortunately, my local collecting buddy cleaned out the goodies before I got there, leaving only R2-D2, the 41st Clone Trooper, Anakin Skywalker and the green Clone Trooper. I snagged the Anakin figure, since it had a much nicer head than the one I got in wave 1. So, I am still on the hunt (very casually) for Pablo-Jill and Luminara Unduli. I have no interest in Mara Jade.

Long time no post...life has been keeping me occupied I guess.

Anyway, I scored Vizam, Mara Jade, Merumeru, Pablo-Jill, and Neyo at has to toyshop this morning. The stores around here are choked with wave 1 still. Anyway, I also found promo code 10HTSDISC for 10% off. I am pretty happy with that.

Hope everyone is well. Happy Thanksgiving!!

So the black series is very difficult to secure in my area. I HAVE tried, but unfortunately I just do not have the time available to me to hunt but I am still collecting and buying in waves as I miss out on enough at the retail level! I have recently acquired the following:

3 3/4 Anakin Skywalker

3 3/4 Clone Lt.

3 /34 Biggs (contemplating returning, as the paint of his mustache does not line up with the plastic of his mustache just a little too much for me to overlook)

-Wave 3 from EE:
1x Darth Vader
1x Clone Pilot
1x Stormtrooper
1x Luke Skywalker (Yavin Ceremony)
1x Clone Trooper (41st Elite Corps/Coruscant)
1x Darth Plagueis
1x Merumeru (Wookiee)
1x Clone Commander Neyo
1x Mara Jade Skywalker
1x Luminara Unduli
1x Vizam (Nikto)
1x Mace Windu (Clone Wars)

Which catches me up pretty good Smile I am thankful to the option to purchase in assorted waves, it really helps collectors like me! Miss you all and hopefully I will be checking back more often than less.

Nice haul, Ridge! I just hope that all of your paint apps are top-notch. I am not very happy with the eyes on my Merumeru and my 6" Han Solo. I think I'll keep them carded, and wait for replacements when I come across them at retail.

I went to Target yesterday afternoon to get groceries, and the power was out in the store due to the ice storm. They were running on genies, with a few lights still on, and a few cash registers up and running. The air conditioning was off, and it was fraking cold in that place (it was 27° outside). Anyway, my daugher and I got our groceries in the relative dark (they weren't selling any refrigerated goods), and when we finally made our way to the toy section, the power came back on! It's as if the gods knew I needed to check for TBS toys! Sitting there on top of an entire shelf of wave 1 (6") figures was a lone figure from wave 2: Leia. Great paint apps, so she went right into the cart. Happy day for me. My daughter and I went to the checkout (after looking at a blue iPod Nano for my wife), where a skinny brunette with painted-on eyebrows was waiting for customers. She told me that she was from Montana and that this cold storm was nothing compared to what she used to experience up there. She said that she missed her snowboard. Time to move back, I told her!

When I got home, I showed the Leia to my wife. She looked at it and said, "What's wrong with her hips? They're huge!"

LOL! Very Happy

I don't understand the strange and horrifying obsession that many women have with their eyebrows. Most of them do things to them that make them look permanently surprised or just plain ridiculous.

Shocked

I got 6" Fett and Greedo from a trade. Fett is a PHENOMENAL figure.
