I'd love to get my hands on one, but probably not enough to drive to the suburbs on the east side of the city, which is my nearest Ollie's (a great store for toy deals, but it's a looooooooong drive)

Closest ollies to me is about a days drive away Sad

What's Ollies? Question

(Just kidding. We just don't have those stores down here in Indian territory.)

I only saw the Turbo Speeder once, and I didn't grab it at the time.

I saw it a number of times, but always passed on it thinking I could find it on sale later. I never did. I never saw the Mandalorian flying bus myself, though I was aware of it when it hit Toys R Us packaged as a 2-pack. I just couldn't justify a special trip to get it. I think that may have been a Black Friday deal as well, which would have further made me not want to make the trip.

Well, I put 450 miles on my car last Friday when I was looking for those 2 packs, though to be fair, that wasn't the sole goal of my little trip. I'd still like to get one. It's a cool design. I'm less enthused about the Mando ship, though at what works out to a Kmart price of $7.50, I'd be more than happy to get one of those as well. Even the Ollie's price of $10 (plus tax) is a hell of a deal.

If anyone missed out on the Jedi Turbo Speeder during its initial release (as I did) or wasn’t able to find one this past Fall at Ollie's, Marshalls, or Kmart (as I wasn’t), then I might direct you over to Amazon, where they’ve been hovering around $20 each for the past week or so: http://amzn.to/1AhoyWc

I did finally see it in a two-pack at TJ Maxx for $25, but with no use for the Kit Fisto starfighter that was included, I decided to pass on it. It wouldn't have even made for a decent Toys For Tots donation since it didn't come with a figure, so I left them sitting there.

I never even thought to check TJ Maxx. There is a store near me and I have checked it in the past and I've occasionally found a thing or two there, but in each instance I have already had it or not wanted it, so I've never made a purchase. I suppose for the Jedi speeder, I would have likely made numerous trips in order to find one. So, in that regard, even though I've paid slightly more, I haven't had to waste the time and gas so I'm likely money ahead.

Still on the look out for one of those Mandalorian buses though. Wink

So, after selling off my entire 4" collection to a collecting buddy last year, I find myself back into collecting 4" figures again. Oh, the humanity!

A couple of weeks ago, on a whim, I sat down and started watching The Clone Wars on Netflix - just jumping around from one storyline to another. Well, I got pulled back into it big time; and I got an itch to re-acquire some of my favorite figures from that line. Another thing which set off my collecting again was the new Jedi Temple Guard in the Saga Legends line, based on the character from The Clone Wars. Those guys are pretty awesome; bought two of 'em.

Anyway, thank you, eBay. So far, I have purchased:

Obi-Wan Kenobi (final release)
Anakin Skywalker (2012 release)
Ahsoka Tano (second outfit)
Kit Fisto (2nd version)
Nahdar Vebb
Mace Windu (1st version)
Padmé Amidala (Adventure Gear)
Ki-Adi Mundi
Cad Bane (2nd version)

And I have my sights set on:
Eeth Koth
Even Piell
Savage Opress (armored)
Darth Maul
Clone Trooper (phase II, white)

I'm still collecting the LEGO line and usually have to pass by the action figure aisle on the way. Occasionally, I'll stop and look at the SW figures. The Rebels figures do nothing for me, but some of the Black Series figures are nice. But then I see the $10+ price tag and my mind says, "You don't need those figures. Those aren't the toys you're looking for. You can go about your business. Move along, move along!"
