From eBay:

It was listed as an "unknown" Star Wars figure, and I got it for $1.99. It is loose, and I don't think it is going to come with his gun. But I wanted it anyway.

From Andrewstoyz :

Exclusive McQuarrie Concept Art Set of 13 Action Figures( I have wanted these for awhile now) actually attempted to order once already but had a problem with starwars.com. They billed me once for the order the day before thanksgiving and the day after. Yes they double billed me. Their excuse was "we wanted to make sure the funds were available first" so after me inquiring 13 days later they told me that the funds weren't available.. They were definitely available. I am getting then now thanks to Andrew who has been very helpfu once again! Thanks Andrew!

It is an awesome figure. It arrived last week, and - just as I thought - without his gun. That's okay, since it is such a cool figure and I have tons of extra weapons in my accessories box.

From Urban Collector:

Luke Skywalker & Deena Shan comic 2 pack

Lumiya and Luke Skywalker comic 2 pack

Master Fisto I want to open these so badly... but feel they are going to be worth something.. but again Im not trying to make a fortune of my star wars collection. To some it is an investment but to me it is more so for the enjoyment that I get out of collecting. I can honestly look at my favorite figures over and over and thing to myself, "wow, how cool and detailed this little thing is" That is what tears me up about leaving anything MOC at all. But I will just stick to my rule, if I feel I should leave it MOC do so, and buy another one specifically to open.. Smile then both needs are satisfied.

I bought this Luke figure off of eBay sometime last year strictly for the head. I wanted to perform a headswap with the VOTC Bespin Luke Skywalker figure from 2007. Since both figures share the same torso, it was an easy swap, and now my VOTC Luke Skywalker looks much better!!!

And ridge913, I think that you have the best policy in place: just buy two sets - one to open, and one to keep carded.
