As most have seen, Jeditemplearchives is reporting a new larger than life AT-AT. Assuming this is the large scale vehicle at the $99 price point, I'm pretty jazzed if this holds true. It makes a lot of sense with the timing of the ESB anniversary. I'm a bit curious about the fact sheet they have posted as it shows the two bounty hunters from the clone wars watermarked behind it. Given the size of the At-Te and Turbo Tank, I don't see why they couldn't fit this one in at the same price point. Count me in for one |

Wow, that is indeed news! I can't wait to see what it looks like.
I am pretty fond of the POTF2 AT-AT that I have. I still remember the day that I bought it on clearance for $10. You can't beat that. _________________

| I remember that, the TRU in town was clearancing that and the FX X-wing. I picked up 4 AT-AT's and 3 X-wings. I displayed all of them at one point...now, had to get rid of them to make room for other things. I was fond of them and can't wait for the next rendition! I might even buy 2 at full price I'm so excited. |

Yeah, those old TRU clearances back then were amazing. I got 2 of the AT-AT, Wing, and the 12" Han on Tauntaun for $10 a piece. I shudder to think of how much all that would cost nowadays. And TRU sure doesn't clear things out like that any more.
As for this new AT-AT. I'm ready for it. Just hope it's something really nice. I've never been too critical of the old AT-AT's scale and such. But there is room for improvement. So, I'm down for a version that improves on the AT-AT as much as the BMF Falcon upped the old Falcon. |

Would love a new one and would pay the BMF price of $150 if done right. The $99 price point might not be that much of a reach since the legs are pretty much the same so not much in terms of a new mold for them _________________ T-man ricks! |

| I wonder what the price point will be. Normal one ran for around $100 and was out of my price range. |

Price point looks to be $99 based on targets dcpi #'s. New info out today says the head will be able to house 6 figures and the body will have a hideaway snow speederbike. So this thing looks like it's going to be one huge mamma-jamma |

Info from a Hasbro press release.
STAR WARS AT-AT
(Approximate Retail Value: $99.99; Ages: 5 & up; Available: August 1, 2010)
In space, size does matter, and Hasbro certainly kept that in mind when creating its all-new, highly detailed STAR WARS AT-AT. The AT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport) played a significant role in the Empire’s military assault in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, and it will play an equally important role in every fan’s toy collection this year! Measuring more than 24 inches tall, nearly 28 inches long, and 12 inches wide, this colossal vehicle holds up to 20 STAR WARS figures – 6 of which can fit in its head alone! – and includes so many play and electronic features true to its on-screen counterpart that it’s hard to believe! From the zip-line in its body and articulated legs for superb poseability, to its LED lights and authentic movie sounds and phrases, this is the must-have addition for STAR WARS fans of all ages. Includes a 3 ¾ inch AT-AT driver action figure and a pop-out speeder bike. _________________ T-man ricks! |
