I'm sad to admit that I think that you are correct. But I would love to be able to add the Legacy Leia to that setup. |

| Some collecting sites are reporting that TVC figures do, indeed, have a street date. It appears that Hasbro is telling retailers not to stock the figures before the week of August 6th. So, now we know when to start looking for these beauties. Sweet! |

i am new here, and to collecting. i recently picked up the 23 vintage and lucas exclusive from a collector in Ireland. i have some questions pertaining to the collection and would very much appreciate the help. i understand that waves 1 and 2 for 2010 are releasing very soon if not already. aug 1 i believe. and are on my attain list.
1-i believe i have all that are available but am not sure, are there any other figures available that i have missed as far as the vintage collection (23 figs. + lucs exclusive)?
2-and i understand wave 1 is dedicated to esb, but why is there no hoth luke?!?!
can we expect this release in the future?
3-is wave 2 the only part of the vintage collection which HAS figures from the newer films?
thanks guys for the help |

Well, technically, the figures from The Vintage Collection are not due to hit retail until the first week of August (in the U.S.). There are 11 figures in wave 1, and 8 figures in wave 2. I'm sorry, but I do not know what this "Lucas exclusive" is to which you are referring.

Yes, Hoth Luke should be coming out next year.

So far, we only have information on the first three waves: wave 1 is dedicated to TESB; wave 2 will be dedicated to ROTS; and wave 3 will comprise figures from ROTJ.
SDCC will take place later this month, and we should have a lot more information then about future releases. |

thanks for the info and the swift response
as far as the George Lucas exclusive i am referring into the mail away in which you receive the Lucas as a storm trooper exclusive by mailing in the proof of purschases of the follwing [rotf biker scout, greedo a new hope, han solo rotj, luke in x wing gear, and tusken raider] . same type of vintage original carding with the highly articulated 3 3.4" figures.
i belive this august release is a continuation of this previously released collection, correct me if i am wrong... here are the previous releases of the VOTC, VOSC 23 vintage original trilogy figures plus one mail away george lucas exclusive $40-100 US. the rest of this collection can be found here, with pictures

if you check they are re-releasing some of the 2004, 2006, 2007 vintage, the same exact figures from this collection.
waves back from 2004+: as far as these figure are concerned out of the collection, you can indeed get your hands on these previously released figures, bespin luke, c-3po, darth vader, and boba fett which are the exact same figures minus the "free boba fett mail away" sticker on the blister. but i indeed do have the early portions of this collection, let me know if you have any questions...
previously released Vintage Collection Figures "Each of the figures in this assortment will feature the exceptionally accurate design and superb articulation customary to Hasbro's action figures, and they will be offered in packaging reminiscent to that of the original 1978-1984 Star Wars packaging!" yes... with the as the front kenner label... although hasbro is iconed on the back of the card these really are phenomenal figures

| I believe I have been mistaken. The newer Bespin includes an extra light saber that remains turned off as well as Luke just looking more like he should. At least they are not exactly the same, I was not looking forward to having duplicates. |
