It appears that Hasbro has not corrected Cody's belt:
I'm glad that I fixed the belt on my Cody already. |

I can relate. Although I am really excited about the Sidious figure, and am glad to see this new Anakin, I have to admit that I have been really underwhelmed by The Vintage Collection so far. Of the eleven figures of wave one, I will only buy five of them (Dack Ralter, Hoth Princess Leia, Bespin Luke Skywalker, AT-AT Commander and Dengar), and none of these were high on my want list, especially that Dengar. I have to pass on all the others, either because they are slight retools/repaints of what we already have (4-LOM, Boba Fett and Darth Vader), or are just plain cruddy-looking figures (Hoth Han Solo, Cloud Car Pilot and C-3PO).
And for this next wave, we are going to get a repaint of a Clone Trooper, a wonky-looking MagnaGuard, a repacked Sandtrooper (strange choice), a repacked Commander Cody, a repacked Obi-Wan Kenobi, a repacked General Grievous and a retooled Anakin Skywalker. Only two new figures, and the only one setting off my nerdbone is Darth Sidious.
Hasbro is going to be laughing all the way to the bank with the offerings from this wave. |

The screwed up Commander Cody really bugs me out of this set. Can't even correct it?!
I'm getting all the bounty hunters and a few other figs. General Veers for sure, need him for the AT-AT when I get it. _________________ Star Wars Space check it out! |

You can fix it yourself, as I did. Heat the figure up with a hairdryer, and then work the belt down. Flip it over and put it back on. Right as rain.

From what I read, this new figure is not Veers, but a generic Commander from one of the other walkers. |

My thing is I should have to.

Well, it kinda sucks but will work too. I'm hoping to get at least two AT-AT (if I can find the room) and the generic commander would work for that. _________________ Star Wars Space check it out! |

I agree with you. It's an oversight on the part of Hasbro, and one they are already aware of (I have read Q&As in which this was brought to Hasbro's attention). They said that they were going to correct it, but these latest photos show that they haven't. It's like what they recently said about the Anakin Skywalker figure. A fan mentioned that the cardback should read Darth Vader, and not Anakin Skywalker, and Hasbro said that they would change it. But recent photos show the cardback as being unchanged.

I just realized that I only bought five figures from wave 1, and that I only plan on buying five figures from wave 2.
I think I see a pattern developing here. |

The confusion about Cody's belt continues. Here's a pic from CV, and the belt has been corrected:
