Picked up a Walmart Exclusive Dewback for $21 vs the original $29 price tag. The clearance price made me happy Smile They had a bunch of Dewbacks, but more Vulture droids on clearance if anyone needs!

There is a good interview with Derryl DePriest (Vice President of Global Brand Management at Hasbro) here: http://www.curtoburns.com/
Direct mp3 download here: http://traffic.libsyn.com/curtoburns/CurtoBurns_23rdAug2012_005.mp3

Instead of issuing any sort of denial or ignoring the question all together (as Hasbro has done in the past), he is actually fairly forthright about addressing the distribution problems.

I didn't agree with everything he said in the interview, but I found myself agreeing with the majority of it and at the very least understanding a lot of the rest.

It's worth a listen.

I went to my local Toys R Us this afternoon, location Warwick, RI... I was so THRILLED (trying to use that as the most excitment possible) to find the Ewok Pack!!! Very Happy
Picked one up, still plan to get a couple more eventually - I am just excited, if ya know what I mean. I'm and Ewok guy, all the way Razz
I was under the impression this pack (and the pilot pack) were supposed to be on shelves in October? At least that's what I saw Hasbro saying, I think Confused hey, I got 'em so whatever! Woot

Your first acquisition of TVC figures consist of some of the hardest to find.

Nope. Fred Meyer.

Yeah, I've heard about the crazy prices for Malgus. It probably won't thrill you when I tell you that he was almost unpunched (think undamaged "dangling chad" that is easily pressed back into place). Or that I got them all for "buy 1 get 1 half off". Though, even at $9.99 each with no sales tax, they were still 50% more than what I paid when ROTS came out.

I just got the TVC Imperial Navy Commander in the mail. I got it via a trade with a collector over at Rebelscum. I have yet to see this figure at retail.

Ahh I have not, I have just been so busy, and deterred from going by traffic when I am in the area or able to go... I will get over to KMart and TRU by Sunday evening, I will report back with my findings, sorry I have not been on my game lately just overwhelmed I guess. I cant remember the last figure photo/ real fun I have had and its long over due!

Today I acquired:

K-Mart Exclusive At-St

Found these @ Wal Mart!
TVC Shock Trooper (second one as I wanted two of these)

TVC Sandtrooper (second one as I wanted two of these)

No Ewok luck at either store, kind of annoyed. I may just order everything online and eliminate the pain all together.

(I also purchased the CW Cad Bane & Pirate Bike, the Cad Bane is one of my favorite characters and the sculpt caught my eye and works great as a cross over IMO) Smile

Yes, I almost left it... But I remember the Hoth Luke and Taun Taun being a very similar situation. Only the Taun Taun was available and no Hoth Luke.
So I hope I can find those 2-packs and put together some fun Ewok scenes; And I need the TRU Ewok pack as well... Raaaawwwwrrr
