I haven't been watching the cartoons at all, so I will pretty much continue to ignore the line. _________________

Not much revealed over the weekend that we didn't already know about. I am surprised that Hasbro did not reveal more than just one new wave (maybe they will break these figures up into two waves). But we did not get to see Savage Opress? Really? Hasbro said that he would be shipping to retail in May. That really surprised me.
Of course, I would have been tickled pink if either of these two guys had been revealed:

Wolffe, Barriss Offee, Eeth Koth, the ARC Trooper, the Riot Clone, and the updated Ahsoka are all definite buys. I sent away for Bric, so I'll probably get El-Les, too. I like the current Anakin a lot more than that new one, though. _________________

I am thinking of burning the first version in my fireplace now that we have this superior one on the way! |

Really? I don't like the face at all. I think the one that's available now looks much better. Maybe I'll feel differently when I see an actual production figure, but this just doesn't look right. _________________

So, I was looking at the new face sculpts compared to the new ones just shown at Toy Fair...
Ya know, after looking at the 3 different Anakin head sculpts Hasbro has given us so far, I think I like the second one the best... I am just not feeling the new sculpt.
However, I think the new Ahsoka is far superior to the previous renditions

and I guess the newest Obi-wan is the best of his bunch.

The Anakin figure that was on display at Toy Fair looks much better. I don't know what possessed Hasbro to release that "official" image of the figure, because the sample they took to NYC looked so much better. Now it's just a matter of getting production figures that look as good as what they brought to Toy Fair, and this might be something I purchase after all. If it looks anything like the one in the picture they released, it will be easy to pass on him. _________________

I don't think it looks that much better.. Like you said, it all comes down to what they look like when they hit the shelves, but I am not holding my breath on this one.
Ahsoka looks different from the display too, better even... I really look forward to her new figure no pun intended
