No comments? Are you happy, sad, angry?
I haven't been buying many figures lately but it is nice to see some of the podracers. Dofine is long, long over due. Of course I am happy to see G8-R3 because I do love the droids. _________________

I'm neither happy, sad or angry. I guess I am just underwhelmed. Although we are getting some definitive versions of characters, there's really nothing here that gets me overly excited. It's obvious that they are going for a big The Phantom Menace push in order to tie in with the 3D movie next year; and they're going to give us some nice resculpts in the form of padawan Anakin, Ric Olié, Naboo Pilot, Aurra Sing and the Royal Guard. But we have repacks galore here, too. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are being re-released; I can't see Darth Maul very well, so I am worried that he is going to be a repack of the Sith Speeder version (that's what he looks like in that picture); the Battle Droid is being done yet again; and all the battle packs appear to be repacks and/or slight retools. But there are some highlights: Mawhonic, Dofine, a new Gungan Warrior and Tyrell are much appreciated, and the Sidious figure has potential, if I could just see it. And I really like Cracken and the Mon Calamari pilot from the deleted scenes wave.
So, it seems as though Hasbro is now in the mode of just "fleshing out" our collections, in that we are getting definitive resculpts, and (cool) random background characters. Those figures on my "most-wanted" list still remain untouched. If we could have seen Merumeru, or a Wookiee Warrior, or a couple more prequel-era Jedi seen in the films, then I would be jumping up and down right now. |

I think you'll have to wait until at least 2013. The TPM figures are obviously a tie-in with the 3D release of TPM. Assuming that 3D releases of ATOC and ROTS will follow (and you know they will), then I'm sure you'll see figures from those films as well. _________________ "we're mild and green ... and squeaky clean" |

I think that you are right about having to wait until 2013 to see cool background characters from Revenge of the Sith. But we are going to get an entire wave of figures from the deleted scenes of Return of the Jedi, and I could easily trade some of those figures in for a couple of Wookiee Warriors! Haha! |

It looks like we're not going to have many *new* figures for the rest of 2011. By my count, it's three: Ponda Baba, Echo Base Trooper and Bastilla Shan. And since I don't need Shan, I guess I only have two more TVC figures to acquire for the rest of the year.

| It seems odd to me that the basic TVC figures for 2012 are going to be exclusives to Walmart. Since when does the basic line become an exclusive? This makes me wonder if the movie line is starting to wind down. |

Well, that's somewhat comforting. I guess it's not unprecedented, since I recall that the last TLC line was an exclusive to TRU. |
