| So, the front page is talking about another $1 price increase. This, in no way, affects my passion for collecting these figures. Bring 'em on, I say! |

You have no idea!?! I have been dying to know if he would come with any ankle articulation... and honestly I assumed none at all, and accepted it. This is quite the surprise and I am very happy to see otherwise. Those eye sockets are sculpted so nicely! I was expecting just paint on two subtle bumps but we actually got sculpted eye sockets! I have been checking eBay diligently at least 3 times a day for a listing on this set... This figure is on My Most Wanted right now... |

I can appreciate your enthusiasm.
Me? I'll wait until they show up at Target. I need to stretch my $$$ as far as I can these days, seeing that I have hospital bills, vet bills, and all the other stuff that comes with supporting a family. |

This doesn't mean I would pull the trigger if I came across one... but I would definitely think about it Being that 2 of 3 are repacks I most likely will wait as well. I just can not justify overpaying for repacks, or toys in general for that matter anymore, unless its really special to me. It just leaves more room for other/ newer toys at the right price.
I hope we see the same trend from the other "Special" Target exclusive sets... where they clog of the pegs for months on end, atleast in my area I was able to go back two and 3 times to find each set always available... I most likely will get two of these Snaggletooth sets and one of the Droid sets.
Supporting a family sure takes a lot and I certainly respect you for it! |

Man, I hope that you are right, because there are some nice figures in some of these sets, and I would love to find them easily.

I will start Target hopping today as the pack has been found in California... One thing I do love about store hopping is I get to use my little pocket rocket she's only driven to and from office usually unless I do go store hopping.. I will keep everyone posted on the discoveries, and even grab extra sets in case anyone wants (me being super optimistic)
Super Target #1 = new battle packs on shelves.. passed on both, star wars stuff seemed freshly stocked but no Special Set..
Target #2 = TBD
Super Target#3 = TBD
Target#4 = TBD |

Word on the street (a.k.a., RebelScum) is that these 3-packs are going to be held back for a toy aisle reset due at the end of this month.
And, here is what we can expect to pay (reported at JTA):

I have been a little hard on myself for not being patient... But I guess there is a premium when purchasing new releases. I lucked out, but again, I am super aggressive as far as searching for them... I really was surprised to find them at the prices I did... I originally only intended to get the villian set, and soon regretted it... I checked the same eBayer and he had the droid set so I quickly snatched it! Believe or not there was only one other lot of the two up at the time and the buy it now was: $69.99+ $8 shipping. So I made out by $2 Things were starting to look up... Now this? Man, sometimes I am happy I am as compulsive as I am.. |
