If we get a 6" Rex, I sure hope he gets his later, phase 2, armor. Like what we saw in the Umbara story.

I'm pretty sure that's what it is, from what I've read. I don't think we'll see a phase I rex for a while, if ever again.

Not sure if this is the right place to discuss the new products being shown at Toy Fair, but I am really excited about some of the new 6 inch figures. Ahsoka, Revan, and Sabine are must haves as far as I am concerned and the Snow Trooper and AT-AT driver are would be very hard to pass up, especially since I have the other troopers. I passed on a Flamethrower Trooper the other day and I am now regretting it. Jango looks awesome too.

I like the new A New Hope Luke and Leia, the Force Awakens Han Solo, and even the Kanan Jarrus figures, but I haven't purchased any unmaked human figures other than Rey (though I wish she came with an alternate head with the goggles and headwrap), so I don't know if I want to start.

Definitely will be picking up atleast 3 snowtroopers, and 2 at at drivers (just in case they make a six inch AT-AT of course Rolling Eyes ).

While I typically only do clones, I am eyeing that Revan, and will most likely get that.
Do we have any release dates/time frames yet? I haven't come across any as of today.

Will get Ahsoka, Revan, Sabine, if I ever see them at retail. Not to keen on paying the internet prices

Hmmmm new 6" TRU exclusive astromech pack:

From Scum:

Quote:
Toys "R" Us has officially confirmed their SDCC Black Series 6-Inch Astromech Droid 3-Pack Exclusive. The pack includes R2-A3, R5-K6, and R2-F2.

The following Toys "R" Us exclusive will be available ONLINE ONLY at Toysrus.com/ComicConvention beginning Thursday, July 21:

Star Wars The Black Series Astromech Droid 3-Pack from Hasbro

This exclusive collectable showcase of the heroic droids from the Battle of Yavin features exquisite craftsmanship, multiple points of articulation and premium detail that only The Black Series and Star Wars can offer. The droids featured in this pack include R2-A3, who assisted the Rebel Alliance pilot Wedge Antilles, R5-K6, who stood alongside Red Squadron leader Garven Dreis, and R2-F2, droid for Rebel Alliance Starfighter pilot Biggs Darklighter. This item will become available at Toys "R" Us stores later this year.

Astromechs are my favorite, but I'm not sure I can see shelling out the $$ for this, which I assume will not be especially cheap.

Hmmmm.... do they have a third leg? It looks like it. Perhaps their ankles aren't articulated - which would make the three-leg pose impossible to achieve - at least correctly! It seems unlikely give that these are allegedly part of the 6 inch series. But who knows, this is Hasbro after all.

Or ... perhaps the photographer was simply lazy.

It looks like there's a 3rd leg tucked up in there, so maybe the photos & poses aren't the best. The R2-D2 that they released in this line has a 3rd leg & ankle joints.

Agree on all points. Lazy photographer!

-1,000 bonus points to Lucasfilm for not posing Artoo correctly at (roughly) the 6:24 mark in this week's Star Wars Show.

Shame!... Shame!

I'll show you MY third leg all tucked up in there! (Sorry, bad joke.)

My friend found this set at TRU for about $55. He texted me and asked me if I wanted it, and I told him that I just couldn't justify three Hasbro droids for that money.
