I am pretty sure those names were not in the canon when AOTC hit theaters back in 2002. In fact, Ponds was a commander first featured in The Clone Wars (2009), if I am not mistaken.

But I have long had my fill of clones, so I would have much preferred to see Hasbro use those two slots for even more Arena Jedi! But DAMN! We're getting six *new* Arena Jedi! Hell yeah! I am ecstatic. These two sets have made me excited for the 3.75" line again (most of my attention was turning to the 6" figures). This is one of the few instances in which we are getting never-before-made characters. Thank you, Hasbro! BRAVO!

that is correct, and he is sadly dead.. he was one of the good ones as well. I like these clones they are sharper than the old ones paint wise and look less "fat" I suppose

The nerd web is reporting that these sets are starting to show up at TRUs in Arizona and California. Shouldn't be long before they start showing up here in Texas.

I got these two sets yesterday. They are fantastic, and I can't wait to add them to my Flikr page.
