The 6 inch Speeder Bike and Trooper set is going to be an Amazon Lightning Deal tomorrow at 2pm. I assume Amazon shows me the start time in my local time, so that would be 2pm Mountain time. Definitely worth checking out

For the last couple of years, I have adopted a policy of buy-it-when-I-see-it. That precludes taking advantage of sales down the road. Oh well.

Hope you get one at a great price, Bob. It's a great collectible.

Me, too. But I really don't want a second one right now, so I am okay with missing the deal.

On the other hand, my wife was at Target yesterday and she found the Sandtrooper with black pauldron. Although I already have one, I thought a second one would be a nice addition to my collection.

And I got two clone troopers from Dorkside for $13 each, plus shipping. That brings my clone army up to three.

Amazon has the 6 inch Biker Scout for $23.75, which isn't much more than the Lightning deal the other say. Their prices fluctuate hourly it seems, so who knows how long it'll last.

That's a damned good price. I still don't want a second one at this time, though. But if it drops below $20, I may change my tune.

I just got Jabba off of Amazon for $15.64. Go there NOW if you want one for a cheapo price.

My wife picked up the 6" Emperor today at Walmart. She didn't like the fact that I was buying another Star Wars figure, so I decided not to ask her to get Stormie Luke and the Clone. Sad

Got Commander Doom from Amazon for under $12 last week. Waiting for Rex and Wolffe to drop below $12. Hoping to get the 6inch IG-88for around $20 on Amazon at some point

Under duress, of course. Wink

I found the 6" clone captain at Walmart this afternoon. No sign of HanTaun, though. Sad

And...what do you think of the Emperor?

I was impressed with him after getting him out of the package, especially after seeing so many...disappointing pictures of him. The hood was much better than I had seen, since it "sat" on the head in a more natural way than I was expecting. The facial sculpt is not great, but decent. The soft goods cloak works well, but cloth never looks exactly right in this scale because of the lighter weight of the fabric. All in all, he's well worth the $20 price tag. I would be way more nitpicky if this had been a $50 collectible. So...recommended.
